AI with a personality is still AI.

Eliza is an artificial-intelligence companion provided through ELM. She can hold conversations, work with text, voice and images, create or find media, use memories when available, and route requests to supporting systems such as Lucas.

Eliza is not a human being. Her personality and visual identity are part of the experience; they do not mean every response is verified fact. These terms apply alongside the ELM Terms of Service.

Eliza can make mistakes.

Eliza can misunderstand a message, lose context, omit important details, use outdated information, misidentify media, or confidently produce something inaccurate or invented. Check important information with a reliable source before relying on it.

Eliza is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safety, workplace or emergency advice and must not be the sole basis for a decision that significantly affects a person.

Memory helps, but it is not an official record.

Signed-in users may receive persistent history and memory. Memory can be incomplete, outdated or incorrectly inferred, so users should correct it when necessary.

Guest messages and replies remain available under a pseudonymous guest session for 30 days after activity, so that browser or extension can continue the conversation. Expired records are purged daily. This is separate from signed-in account memory and may be lost if the guest session token is cleared. Raw guest images are processed for the reply but are not kept in the guest conversation ledger. Limited operational records may also be retained for security and reliability.

Only share what you are entitled to share.

When you submit an image, voice recording, file or location, you confirm you may provide it for processing. Analysis and generated or edited media can contain mistakes and artefacts. Generated people, events and places can appear real even when fictional.

Location is optional and may be inferred incorrectly from device or media context.

Paid features use consumable ELM credits.

The app shows the price and credit amount before purchase. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable outside the supported ELM account, and are reduced when an eligible paid feature is used. Apple purchases are also governed by Apple’s payment and refund rules and are credited after receipt validation.

Use Eliza lawfully and responsibly.

Do not use Eliza to break the law, harm or exploit someone, evade access controls, distribute malware, impersonate someone deceptively, infringe rights, or create or share unlawful content. Do not present an unverified output as a confirmed fact about another person.

An evolving service.

Limits and availability can vary by account status and jobs may be queued. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, a particular model or response, or permanent retention of every item.

You retain rights you already hold in submitted material and grant the limited permission needed to provide, secure and improve Eliza. Subject to law and third-party rights, you may use outputs, but they may not be unique.

Verify before relying.

Eliza is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Nothing excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the maximum permitted by law, ELM and its operators are not responsible for loss caused by relying on an unverified output or using Eliza contrary to these terms.
